A passenger plane preparing for takeoff from Orlando International Airport in Florida caught fire in one of its engines. While the 282 passengers on board were evacuated using emergency slides, there were no fatalities or injuries reported in the incident.
According to information obtained from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the incident occurred after a Delta Airlines Airbus A330 aircraft departed from the gate to head to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Georgia. One of the two engines of the aircraft, which had 282 passengers on board, caught fire for reasons that are still unknown.
PANIC MOMENTS CAPTURED BY AMATEUR CAMERAS
As passengers were evacuated using emergency slides, the moments of panic were captured by amateur cameras. It was reported that the flames were extinguished shortly after the fire department intervened. An investigation has been launched into the incident, in which there were no fatalities or injuries among the 282 passengers and 12 crew members. In a statement from Delta Airlines, it was announced that the evacuated passengers would be taken to Atlanta on another flight.

Finally, on April 11, a helicopter crashed into the Hudson River in New York City, resulting in the deaths of all 6 people on board.
