Images have emerged showing the initial response to a passenger plane that took off from Russia and experienced an engine fire while landing at Antalya Airport last night. The footage shows passengers moving away from the aircraft and the rapid response of the teams.

RECORD RESPONSE TIME

The 'Sukhoi Superjet 100' belonging to Russian Azimuth Airlines, which was landing at Antalya Airport with 87 passengers and 4 crew members, experienced an engine fire and was responded to in record time. Suat Seyitoğlu, the Deputy Governor and Chief Administrative Officer of Antalya Airport, stated that the teams reached the burning aircraft in 23 seconds, extinguished the fire within 2 minutes, and began the evacuation, which was completed quickly, ensuring the safe evacuation of passengers and crew.
