The excitement of the first week of the UEFA Conference League will kick off with two matches on Wednesday, October 2. On the opening day, our sole representative, RAMS Başakşehir, will host the Austrian team Rapid Wien at home. The UEFA Conference League will be held for the first time in a league format with the participation of 36 teams, instead of the traditional group format. In the Conference League, each team will compete against 6 opponents. The top 8 teams will advance to the Round of 16.

NEW FORMAT FOR THE FIRST TIME

On Thursday, 16 matches will be played in the Conference League. The UEFA Conference League will be held for the first time in a league format with the participation of 36 teams instead of the classic group format.

In the Conference League, each team will compete against 6 opponents, 3 at home and 3 away. The teams that finish in the top 8 will directly advance to the round of 16. Teams ranked 9th to 24th will face each other in the play-off round to try to secure a ticket to the round of 16. From the play-off round onwards, a two-legged knockout system will be implemented. The final of the tournament will be played on May 28, 2025, at a stadium in Wroclaw, Poland, bearing the same name.
