STRONG DOWNPOUR AND FLOOD WARNING
In the statement made by the Ministry of Interior, citizens were asked to take precautions against the risk of flooding, flash floods, landslides, lightning, local hail, disruptions in transportation, and tornadoes that may occur with the rainfall.
STRONG WIND AND STORM
Intermittent and locally strong showers, with thunderstorms in places, are expected in Bursa, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Istanbul and Yalova, as well as over time in the surroundings of Kocaeli and Sakarya. From the noon hours onward, the wind is forecast to blow from the north as strong and at times in the form of short-lived storms in western Marmara and throughout Istanbul.
EXPECTATION OF HEAVY RAINFALL IN HATAY AND OSMANIYE
Strong thunderstorms with showers are forecast in the surroundings of Hatay, northern Osmaniye, eastern Adana and western Gaziantep. The rainfall is expected to reach locally very strong and severe levels, especially in the Erzin, Dörtyol, Payas and Hassa districts of Hatay and in the center and southern surroundings of Osmaniye.
WESTERN BLACK SEA AND AEGEAN REGION ALSO AT RISK
In the announcement made from the Ministry's official social media account, it was noted that locally strong showers are expected in Zonguldak, Bartın, Düzce, northern Kastamonu and Sinop. At the same time, it was reported that locally strong showers and thunderstorms will continue to be effective in the surroundings of İzmir, Aydın, Muğla, Çanakkale and Edirne, as well as in the western parts of Manisa and Balıkesir.
