Following the announcement of the net minimum wage as 28,075 TL for the year 2026, the increase rates for pensions and civil servant salaries are being eagerly anticipated. Social Security Expert Özgür Erdursun stated that in 2026, a 12-13% increase is expected for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees, while a higher increase is anticipated for civil servants and retired civil servants. He also mentioned that the lowest pension could approach the level of 19,000 TL.
The salary increase for civil servants and retirees is determined based on collective agreements and inflation. SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees receive an increase based on the 6-month inflation rate.

Data regarding the consumer price index for the 5 months of the second half of the year has been revealed. Thus, the 5-month salary difference for civil servants and retirees has also become clear.
