"I FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE COMPANY THAT BUILT THE RETAINING WALL"
Uğur Koç, who stated that his son narrowly escaped death, said, "He lost his balance while riding a bicycle and got caught on the iron bars of the retaining wall. He suffered a blow of approximately 8-9 centimeters to his body. He had cuts on his body. Passersby called an ambulance. They reached me through my son's phone. I also went to the scene. We took him to Numune Hospital by ambulance. They immediately intervened there. Then, he underwent examinations. He had a deep wound. They stitched him up with 15 stitches. His health condition is currently good, but the inadequate precautions and the iron bars on the wall caused the injury. I filed a complaint against the company that built the wall. I reported the incident to the police and the prosecutor's office."
"THANK GOD HE GOT AWAY WITH IT"
Koç, who stated that the iron bars were not removed after the completion of the wall construction, said, "This happened to our child. I don't want it to happen to other children. There is negligence here. I want this negligence to be rectified. I don't want another child to go through this. I don't want other families to suffer. If the iron had gone a little deeper, it could have reached his heart. He has a significant wound below his rib cage. Thank God he got away with it. God has spared our child. The retaining wall was built, but the iron bars were left like that due to negligence."
