A fire that started at a hardware factory in Esenyurt during the night has been under control for 7 hours. While the firefighting teams continue their interventions, security measures have been implemented at the scene.
A fire that started for unknown reasons at a hardware factory in Esenyurt during the night has been ongoing for 6 hours
The fire broke out around 00:30 at a factory located on Esenyurt Osmangazi Hadımköy Road. The fire, which started for unknown reasons, spread over a large area. Upon notification, a large number of fire, medical, and police teams from surrounding districts were dispatched to the scene. As the 6th hour of the fire passed, firefighting teams continued to work from 5 fronts.
FIRE PARTIALLY CONTROLLED
Although the fire has been partially subdued and brought under control, burning continues especially in the garden of the factory. The flames inside the building have been brought under control. It was learned that the burning and explosions in the garden were caused by cylinders located within the garden, and as of 05:30, the cylinders had completely run out and the explosions had completely ceased. While security measures continue in the area, traffic occurred on Hadımköy Road where the fire took place. While the firefighting teams continue their intervention, authorities have launched an investigation regarding the fire.
