In the Kızıltepe district of Mardin, 80-year-old Mehmet Çiçek, who suffered a brain hemorrhage, and his 55-year-old son Mahmut Çiçek passed away in hospitals one day apart.
Mehmet Çiçek (80) and his son Mahmut Çiçek (55), who suffered a brain hemorrhage on different dates in the Kızıltepe district of Mardin, passed away in the hospitals where they were being treated, one day apart.
THEY SUFFERED BRAIN HEMORRHAGE ON DIFFERENT DATES
Mehmet Çiçek, the former muhtar of the Eski Bahçelievler neighborhood, was hospitalized at Kızıltepe State Hospital due to a brain hemorrhage. His son Mahmut Çiçek also suffered a brain hemorrhage shortly after and was taken to Mardin Training and Research Hospital. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, Mehmet Çiçek could not be saved last night. Mahmut Çiçek also lost his life this morning.

The Çiçek family was plunged into sorrow with the news of two deaths that came one day apart. The only memory left of the father and son is a photo taken by Mahmut Çiçek while visiting his father in the hospital.
