The incident occurred last night in a luxury villa with a pool in the Boynuyoğun neighborhood of the Sarıçam district. G.A. left the house after a dispute with her husband Sergen Altunbaş, who is known for his visa consultancy for the United States (USA) and videos shared on social media.
KILLED HIS TWO CHILDREN AND TOOK HIS OWN LIFE
Shortly after his wife left the house, Sergen Altunbaş shot his children Ada and Mert with a gun. Altunbaş then shot himself in the head. Upon hearing the gunshots, neighbors alerted the police and medical teams to the address. The teams that entered the house found the father and his two children in a pool of blood. The medical team's examination confirmed that Altunbaş and his children had lost their lives.
CAR SET ON FIRE
The lifeless bodies of Altunbaş and his children were taken to the morgue of the Adana Forensic Medicine Institution after the investigation at the scene. Relatives who arrived at the address after the incident set fire to the luxury car belonging to Sergen Altunbaş.

Meanwhile, it was seen that Sergen Altunbaş had shared a post on his social media account months ago, stating, "A woman can make you a minister or disgrace you," praising his wife. After the family tragedy, the happy family images shared by the couple on social media drew attention. It was noted that the family, who had moved to the USA some time ago to improve their financial situation, shared numerous videos of their travels and beautiful moments they experienced. The father and his two children, whose autopsy procedures are ongoing at the morgue, are expected to be buried in the coming hours.
REPORT CARDS LEFT ON EMPTY DESKS
On the other hand, the report cards of Ada, a 2nd-grade student at Hayriye Kemal Kusun Primary School, and Mert, a kindergarten student, who were killed by their father Sergen Altunbaş (34), were left on their empty desks along with flowers. It was stated that families did not send their children to school to prevent them from being affected by the incident. It was noted that the two siblings had good report cards.
