Famous British actress Emma Watson was caught driving at 38 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour zone and received a six-month driving ban.

The 35-year-old Harry Potter star was prosecuted today at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court for speeding in her Audi, which is worth around £30,000. This was her fourth traffic offense in the last two years.

Along with three penalties she received in October and November 2023 and January 2024, she has accumulated a total of 12 penalty points, with an additional 3 points added to her license.

Watson will also pay a total fine of £1,044 within 28 days, as per the court's ruling. This fine consists of £660 for admitting her offense, an additional fee of £264, and £120 in court costs.

On the same day, another Harry Potter actor, Zoë Wanamaker, also received a driving ban at the same court. The 77-year-old, who played Madam Hooch, the Quidditch referee in the first film, was caught driving at 46 miles per hour in a 40 miles per hour zone in Wiltshire.

Emma Watson's speeding offense was detected by a speed camera on a road with strict speed limits in the city where she is pursuing her PhD at Oxford University. At the time of the incident, Watson was driving her Audi S3, which is valued at around £30,000.

This is not the first time Watson has faced traffic issues. Last February, her car was towed by the police for being parked incorrectly in front of a pub called Rose and Crown in Stratford-upon-Avon. The vehicle had blocked the entrance to a parking lot, causing the pizza restaurant manager's car to be stuck inside for about 3 hours.

After a long 12-hour shift, the manager, unable to find her vehicle, had to call the police when she couldn't locate the owner of the car.
