Ağırbaş stated that he started his struggle for life at a very young age, mentioning that he worked as a shepherd and farmer to support his family while trying to continue his education.
"MY PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER USED TO BEAT ME EVERY DAY BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T GIVE MY MOTHER TO HIS BROTHER"
Zülfü Ağırbaş expressed that he faced violence at school during his childhood, saying, "My primary school teacher used to beat me every day because they didn't give my mother to his brother."
"I HAVEN'T HEARD WITH MY RIGHT EAR SINCE I WAS 6 BECAUSE MY TEACHER HIT ME"
Ağırbaş stated that violence leaves not only physical scars but also permanent ones, explaining that he cannot hear with his right ear due to the violence inflicted by his teacher.
"MY UNCLE USED TO BEAT MY MOTHER EVERY DAY"
Ağırbaş highlighted that his mother was constantly subjected to violence, stating, "My uncle used to beat my mother every day," revealing the extent of domestic violence.
"MY UNCLE'S WIFE WAS LIKE A QUEEN, SHE WATCHED WITH GREAT PLEASURE WHILE MY UNCLE BEAT MY MOTHER"
Ağırbaş remarked, "My uncle's wife was like a queen; she watched with great pleasure while my uncle beat my mother," indicating that his mother was subjected to violence without any help.
