THE MOMENTS ON CAMERA As Ocaktan, his brother, and his 13-year-old son were beaten with sticks, the fight was captured second by second on the security camera of the workplace.
"THEY BEAT HIM TO DEATH, THEY CRACKED HIS HEAD..." Adem Ocaktan, who said they found the lights on at the workplace when they arrived to prepare at night, stated, "I came to my workplace around 03:30 on the night of November 1. I was going to load materials into my vehicle to go to a show in Malatya. When I opened the door, I noticed that the alarm was ringing and the lights were on inside. My brother and my 13-year-old son were with me. We started to look for a thief inside and shouted, and we called the police. After 2-3 minutes, I saw a light coming towards my vehicle. I thought it was a police car, so I walked towards it. When the vehicle stopped, I realized it was a civilian car and saw that my father-in-law, brother-in-law, and wife were inside. 'Did you think you could escape from me? Where do you think you're going?' he said. I told him I wasn't running away, I was going to work. He said we would talk, and I replied, 'What are we going to talk about at this hour of the night?' They started to curse at us slowly. Then my wife pushed me inside, saying, 'This marriage has ruined us' to her stepson. Then my father-in-law and brother-in-law started to engage in dialogue with my brother outside. A scuffle began, they took sticks in their hands and hit my brother. Meanwhile, I tried to separate the struggle between my son, my wife, and me. They went inside and beat my brother to death. They cracked his head. They cursed very heavily," he said.
"17 STITCHES WERE REQUIRED, RIB IS BROKEN, INTERNAL BLEEDING EXISTS" Ocaktan, stating that his son's psychology has also deteriorated, said, "My brother fainted and received 17 stitches on his head. His rib is broken, he has lung injuries, and there is internal bleeding. All of these are documented with forensic reports. My wife attacks my 13-year-old son here. She strikes him with a stick twice, and the child twists left and right. He runs away to this side, and I get angry, saying, 'Don't wander around here.' At that moment, my son comes this way, and the scuffle starts again. My father-in-law hits him on the head with a stick. I jump on him. The child fainted over there, my brother fainted here. I also fell to the ground during this separation. I was hit on my hip and eye. There is a risk to my eye. It is also documented in the reports. I am not sad for myself; I am sad for my son. His psychology is shattered. I am sad for my brother; he sacrificed himself for me here. He has a report stating he is unable to work. Right now, they are walking around freely.
