The female security guard who had arguments with celebrities on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival received backlash for preventing Korean actress Yoona from taking a photo.
The female security guard who made headlines with her controversies with celebrities on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival this year, has now prevented Korean actress Yoona from taking photos.
HER SURPRISE WAS REFLECTED ON HER FACE
The security guard had previously argued with Dominican actress Massiel Taveras and former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland. In the latest incident, Yoona, a member of the K-Pop group Girls' Generation who later started acting, experienced an unexpected incident while posing on the red carpet. The security guard intervened and directed the actress to the stairs, not allowing her to take photos. Although Yoona continued to move, her surprised and uncomfortable expression was evident on her face.
ARGUED WITH FAMOUS NAMES
In a video released last week, it was seen that 43-year-old Kelly Rowland was angry with the security guard. Rowland said, "She knows who she is; I know who she is. I have a boundary and I am protecting that boundary. There were other women and they were not like me. They were not scolded or pushed. I maintained my stance."
In the argument with Massiel Taveras, the same security guard tried to put her arm on the TV presenter's head and chest to let her in. Taveras pushed the guard's hand away from her face. It was understood that the guard was a local French person who participated in the festival with a short-term contract. A source said that the guard was under great pressure and that claims of racism or discrimination were absurd.
