The legendary name of Turkish arabesque music, Ferdi Tayfur, passed away in the hospital where he was being treated in Antalya. The death of the master artist saddened everyone.

A FERDI TAYFUR MUSEUM WAS BEING BUILT IN ADANA

The leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, known for his admiration for Ferdi Tayfur, also published an emotional message. While expressing his sorrow, a detail emerged regarding the Ferdi Tayfur Museum and Art Park built by the Sarıçam Municipality in Adana.

IT WAS TO BE COMPLETED IN 3 DAYS

It was learned that the museum would be completed in 3 days on January 5. The order for the construction of the museum was given by Devlet Bahçeli.

BAHÇELİ'S CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

After Tayfur's death, MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli published a condolence message. In his message shared on social media, Bahçeli stated, "We have lost Ferdi Tayfur, the exceptional artist of the Turkish people and arabesque music. The death of Ferdi Tayfur took a piece of me away. May he find peace in his place. May his place be paradise."

In his message, Bahçeli expressed the following: "On this day when we are experiencing the blessed Three Months and Regaib Kandil, I pray to be worthy of the mercy, compassion, and forgiveness of Allah, we have lost Ferdi Tayfur, the exceptional artist of the Turkish people and arabesque music. He was my brother, a master of voice and words who translated my heart's language. He was an artist who earned his halal livelihood with the sweat he shed in the cotton fields of Adana, then climbed to the peaks of Turkish music and established a throne in the hearts of millions, a hardworking, self-sacrificing, and homeland-loving artist. Now, his cousin is left orphaned. The burning and painful voice of Çukurova, mourning for a poor soul who died with the bleating of lambs, unfortunately, saddened his loved ones. Truly, words are choking in my throat. I cannot find words to describe and express my sorrow. The death of Ferdi Tayfur took a piece of me away. May he find peace in his place. May his place be paradise. May Allah treat him with His mercy. May our esteemed nation, his loved ones, and all of us be consoled."
