Fenerbahçe announced that the total number of signatures submitted to the club is 229. Reminding that, in accordance with Fenerbahçe's deep-rooted traditions and corporate culture, extraordinary general assemblies in the club's history have never been held by collecting signatures, the club stated that this process will continue to be conducted meticulously and within the legal framework.
The Fenerbahçe Club announced that the number of official signatures collected for the extraordinary election is 229.
Here is that statement;
"In accordance with the relevant provisions of our club's statutes, no statement has been made regarding the signatures collected for the request for an Extraordinary General Assembly to ensure that the process progresses healthily and is not open to manipulation.
As we have emphasized before, we see and respect every right granted to our congress members in our statutes as one of the fundamental elements of our club's democracy. However, it should not be forgotten that, in line with Fenerbahçe's deep-rooted traditions and corporate culture, an Extraordinary General Assembly has never been held by collecting signatures in our club's history.
However, at this point, it is clear that a perception operation is being carried out to mislead the public with claims that are unrelated to the facts, consisting of lies and slander, especially on social media platforms. For this reason, in the interest of the transparency of the process and the continuity of its healthy progress, it has been decided to share detailed information about the signature declarations delivered to our club within the framework of our laws and statutes.
• Declaration Received by Mail from Notary: Declarations delivered by mail through a notary are received by our Legal Department. As of 04.06.2025, 151 declarations have been received by the club through this method and recorded.
• Declaration Received by the High Council (YDK): Declarations delivered to the High Council are handed over to our Legal Department by the YDK Secretariat in exchange for a signature. As of 04.06.2025, 78 declarations have been received and recorded through this method.
In light of this information, the total number of signature declarations delivered to our club so far is 229. The process will continue to be carried out meticulously and within the legal framework by our club."
