Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor and five public prosecutors, along with the expert committee designated by the Prosecutor's Office, continue their work regarding the cause of the fire, negligence, and faults, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated:

"Nine individuals have been detained due to the incident. Our chief inspectors have arrived. The entire process from the first day of the hotel is being examined in great detail, and any faults or negligence related to the necessary legal procedures will be revealed as a result of this administrative investigation, and we will share this truth with our esteemed nation."

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that a one-day national mourning has been declared due to the fire tragedy. Following the declaration of national mourning, Turkish flags at all public buildings and foreign representations across the country were lowered to half-mast until sunset.

Teams from the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) and firefighters are meticulously carrying out their work against the risk of collapse due to the hotel being largely made of wooden materials.
