In the Akyazı district of Sakarya, young people who parked a panel van with its emergency lights on and went to a pastry shop returned to find a fine of 276,000 TL. The vehicle, whose owner's driver's license was confiscated for 30 days, was banned from traffic for 30 days.
The traffic police patrolling on Yağcılar Street in the Akyazı district of Sakarya detected that a parked panel van had a megaphone-equipped flashing light system. The flashing light system was removed from the vehicle and confiscated.
A FINE OF 276 THOUSAND LIRA WAS IMPOSED
A total of 276,000 TL in fines was imposed on the 18-year-old driver N.T., who parked the vehicle with the flashing light on and went to a pastry shop, as well as on the vehicle's registered owner. The driver's license of the registered owner was confiscated for 30 days, and the vehicle was banned from traffic for 30 days and delivered to the impound lot.
