THE SECOND HEARING IS ON DECEMBER 26The first hearing of the case regarding the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran, in which four detained suspects are being tried with the request for aggravated life imprisonment, was held recently in Diyarbakır. The court panel accepted the request of the complainant Arif Güran and his representative, the Diyarbakır Bar Association, and the Ministry of Family and Social Services to join the case, rejected the request for the brother Baran Güran to be added as a complainant to the file, decided to include the footage from the Dara region (Martyr Gendarmerie Specialist Corporal Bilal Dicle Observation Point) in the file, accepted the request for detained suspect R.A. to be heard as a witness, and decided to write to the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to obtain a detailed supplementary report showing which methods, which base data were used, which devices were used, and what criteria were followed in preparing the narrowed base report in the file, as well as indicating the possibility of a margin of error. The panel ruled for the continuation of the detention of the suspects, considering the possibility of fleeing, hiding, and not being caught, and postponed the hearing to December 26.
