In a ground attack carried out by the forces of Bashar al-Assad regime in Kenakir village, located near the capital city of Syria, Damascus, at least 5 civilians lost their lives and 7 civilians were injured.

According to local sources obtained by AA correspondent, clashes broke out between armed local groups and the forces of al-Assad regime following the raids carried out by the regime forces in Kenakir village in the west of Damascus in the afternoon.

AT LEAST 5 SYRIAN CIVILIANS LOST THEIR LIVES

Following the clashes that took place in multiple locations with local armed groups, the regime forces targeted the village with ground-to-ground weapons. In the attack that targeted the bus carrying civilians and the houses in the village, at least 5 civilians lost their lives and 7 civilians were injured. The clashes in the village continue intermittently.
