Starting from tomorrow, the stamp payment method for the exit fee for traveling abroad will come to an end. The fee, set at 710 lira, can be paid through various electronic methods, and there will be no need to present a receipt.

An important change regarding the exit fee for leaving the country is coming into effect. From now on, exit fee payments will be made electronically, and there will be no need to show a receipt at the exit points. Here are the details regarding the exit fee for leaving the country:

STAMP PAYMENT METHOD IS ENDING

As of tomorrow, the stamp payment method for the exit fee will end. Fee payments will be made electronically through certain methods and will be automatically transferred to the General Directorate of Security.

THE FEE WILL BE 710 LIRA

The exit fee for leaving the country has been set at 710 lira starting tomorrow. The era of payment with stamps has come to an end. Fee payments can be made through the GİB website, Digital Tax Office, and GİB Mobile applications. Additionally, the payments made will be automatically transferred electronically to the General Directorate of Security.

THERE WILL BE NO NEED TO SHOW A RECEIPT

Since payment transactions are made electronically, there will be no need to show a receipt at the exit points. Citizens will be able to check whether their payments have been completed through the digital system.

ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT METHODS

The fee can also be paid at the cash desks of the tax offices and customs offices in exchange for a receipt. However, in this case, the payment receipt must be shown to the authorized security personnel at the exit points.

OLD PAYMENTS WILL CONTINUE TO BE VALID

The exit fee for leaving the country will remain valid until January 10, 2025, including payments made over 500 lira.
