Serdar Sertçelik, the secret witness with the code name "M7" in the Ayhan Bora Kaplan case, was caught and arrested with a fake Georgian passport at the Hungary border. The process for his extradition, for which a red notice was issued, has been initiated. During the investigation process, police chiefs were accused of setting up a conspiracy following Serdar Sertçelik's allegations.

The secret witness of the case, Serdar Sertçelik, had previously been exposed and then fled abroad. Sertçelik, who claimed to have been forcibly made a secret witness, alleged that the police were trying to include the names of many former AK Party ministers and some bureaucrats who are still in active duty in the file. Following the allegations, Ankara Deputy Chief of Police responsible for Organized Crime, Murat Çelik, Organized Crime Branch Director Kerem Gökay Öner, and Deputy Director Şevket Demircan were suspended, and many public officials, including police officers, were arrested.

While the questions about who Serdar Sertçelik met with while in custody and how he escaped with an electronic ankle bracelet were being investigated under the code name "M7," news came that Sertçelik had been captured. MIT determined that Sertçelik, who was thought to be in Paris, the capital of France, was in Montenegro. Serdar Sertçelik's location was immediately shared with the Ministry of Justice. At the same time, Interpol issued a "Red Notice" for Serdar Sertçelik.

Upon learning about the decision, fugitive Serdar Sertçelik escaped from Montenegro to Hungary via Serbia by road. Sertçelik was caught at the Hungarian border with a fake Georgian passport. The Ministry of Justice initiated the legal process for the extradition of the individual.
HISTORY OF THE INVESTIGATION
Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation on May 6th regarding the allegations made by Serdar Sertçelik, the fugitive defendant of the Ayhan Bora Kaplan criminal organization case. 7 out of 10 suspects who were detained within the scope of the investigation were arrested on charges of "attempting to influence a judicial officer, expert, or witness," "disclosing confidential information related to duty," and "favoring the guilty party."
Meanwhile, it was learned that the investigation into the suspects for the crime of "conspiring to commit an offense against the security of the state or the constitutional order" regulated in Article 316/1 of the Turkish Penal Code (TCK) is ongoing.
