A dispute in Esenyurt over a "girl issue" escalated into a knife fight. In the altercation, a 17-year-old was stabbed to death. An operation has been launched to capture the fleeing suspect.
A chilling incident occurred around 20:30 on Gazi Street in the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek neighborhood of Esenyurt district in Istanbul.
17-YEAR-OLD YOUNG MAN STABBED TO DEATH
According to the information obtained; A.A. (17), a Syrian national, began to argue with another foreign national whose identity has not yet been determined. During the fight, the suspect stabbed A.A. in the chest and fled. The injured young man was taken to Esenyurt State Hospital by his relatives. A.A. passed away despite all the medical interventions by the doctors here.
THE FIGHT STARTED OVER A "GIRL ISSUE"
Upon notification, a large number of police teams were dispatched to the scene. As a result of the work carried out by the teams, the knife used by the attacker was found at the scene. Investigations revealed that the fight between the two started due to a "girl issue." The teams launched a large-scale search to capture the fleeing individual.
