The Gürz-18 operations dealt a heavy blow to the terrorist organization.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 55 caves and shelters were destroyed in the 'Gürz-18' operations on Mount Cudi, and a large number of weapons and ammunition were seized. He emphasized that the fight against terrorism will continue with determination.

In Şırnak, operations aimed at destroying various weapons, ammunition, and explosives hidden by members of the terrorist organization in caves and shelters for the purpose of carrying out actions in rural areas resulted in the destruction of 55 caves, shelters, and accommodation areas belonging to the organization.

A LARGE NUMBER OF MATERIALS WERE CAPTURED

As a result of the operations, 10 M79 Heat Guided Anti-Tank Missile Ammunitions were seized. This ammunition was captured in such large quantities for the first time recently, along with 17 PKM Machine Guns, 1 12.7 mm Anti-Aircraft Gun, 2 RPG-7 Rocket Launchers, 1 Zagros Sniper Rifle, 1 Dragunov Sniper Rifle, 1 AK-47 Assault Rifle, 5 TM 62 M Anti-Tank Mines, 123 Rocket Launcher Ammunitions, 600 Anti-Aircraft Ammunitions, 3,600 7.62 mm PKMS Machine Gun Ammunitions, 5,700 Light Weapon Ammunitions, 8 81 mm Mortar Ammunitions, 500 meters of timed fuse, and a large number of materials used in making improvised explosive devices were seized.

"OUR FIGHT AGAINST TERRORISM WILL CONTINUE DETERMINEDLY UNTIL THE LAST TERRORIST IS NEUTRALIZED"

In a statement, Minister Yerlikaya emphasized the determination in the fight against terrorism, stating, "We conduct operations 365 days a year, in all four seasons, 12 months, day and night, both in urban areas and in rural areas. Our fight against terrorism will continue determinedly until the last terrorist is neutralized."
