24-year-old Melike G. experienced a nightmare while visiting a haunted house in Taksim with six of her friends for fun. Although the young woman wanted to be scared without any physical contact, an 18-year-old employee grabbed Melike G. by her hair and neck, threw her to the ground, and applied electric shock. Following the woman's complaint, the employee was detained, and the establishment was sealed.

A scandalous incident occurred on Sunday, October 19, around 23:30 in a haunted house located in the Katip Mustafa Çelebi neighborhood of Beyoğlu district in Istanbul. According to the information obtained, Melike G. went to the haunted house in Taksim with 6 friends to have fun.
Here, Melike G. (24) and her group of friends asked the employees not to touch them in the horror rooms. According to allegations, the employees told the group that they would not be touched. Following this, 6 out of the 7 friends began to spend time in the horror rooms.
HE ASSAULTED THE WOMAN, APPLIED ELECTROSHOCK
An employee of the haunted house who entered Melike G.'s room grabbed her by her hair and neck and laid her down. While on the ground, the employee squeezed her chin, neck, and nape, and then allegedly applied electroshock to her with a device in his hand. After the session, Melike G. left the establishment and went to the hospital to obtain a report of the assault.
THE EMPLOYEE WAS DETAINED
Melike G. stated that despite her request not to be touched, she was assaulted and electroshocked. She filed a complaint against the establishment and the employee at the Taksim Şehit Haşim Usta Police Station. Based on Melike G.'s statement and security camera footage, the police from the B Region Directorate of Security Teams detained Baran T. (18), an employee at the haunted house.
"WE INFORMED THAT THERE WOULD BE CONTACT"
In his statement at the police station, Baran T. said that they informed customers coming to the establishment that there would be contact before entering the room. Legal action was taken against him for "intentional injury."
THE EMPLOYEE WAS RELEASED, THE ESTABLISHMENT WAS SEALED
Baran T., whose procedures were completed, was released from the police station by the decision of the prosecutor's office. Meanwhile, the teams from the Beyoğlu Public Order Bureau and the Beyoğlu Municipality Zoning Directorate sealed the establishment where the incident occurred.
