A suspicious death incident occurred in the Karakamış neighborhood of the Adapazarı district in Sakarya. Those who saw a person motionless inside a parked car on the hospital road near the Temporary Animal Shelter Treatment and Rehabilitation Center reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. CARDIAC SURGEON FOUND DEAD IN HIS CARPolice and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. Medical teams determined during their initial checks that the person inside the Mercedes vehicle with license plate 34 NC 7737 had passed away. Police investigations revealed that the individual was Op. Dr. Okan Dericioğlu, a Cardiac and Vascular Surgeon at Yenikent State Hospital. NO BLOOD TRACE ON HIS BODY OR IN THE VEHICLEInvestigations found no traces of blood on the doctor's body or in the vehicle. Initial assessments suggest that Dericioğlu died as a result of suffocation by wrapping a bag around his head with tape. The exact cause of death will be determined after an autopsy at the Forensic Medicine Institute. Meanwhile, after the investigations at the scene, the car was removed from its location and towed to a parking lot.
