Yılmaz stated that he was on duty the day of the incident, saying, "We were working the same shift. I left home at 5:15 PM. If I remember correctly, I heard the radio voice around 10:00 or 11:30 PM. They said, 'A police officer at Dudullu Police Station has been injured,' so I immediately called my wife. She didn't answer, and I was very worried. I told my fellow officers there that I couldn't stay here, to take me. While we were on the way, my fellow officer said, 'Brother, one of the injured is your wife.' After receiving the news, Semih Yılmaz recounted that they immediately went to the hospital, saying, "My other fellow officers were always by my side at the hospital. Our superiors came.
