Nurettin Çiçek, who collapsed while playing a match at a turf field in Siirt, passed away from a heart attack. Security camera footage from the moment of the incident has emerged.
In Siirt, 37-year-old civil servant Nurettin Çiçek collapsed and lost his life while playing a match with his friends on a turf field. Security camera footage of those moments has emerged.
The incident occurred on March 30 at a turf field on Turan Beyazıt Street in the Bahçelievler neighborhood. Nurettin Çiçek, who worked at Atatürk Anatolian High School, suddenly collapsed and fell to the ground during the match. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After the initial intervention by the health teams, Çiçek was taken to Siirt Training and Research Hospital, but despite all efforts, he could not be saved. It was reported that Çiçek had suffered a heart attack.
After the autopsy procedures, Nurettin Çiçek's body was handed over to his family and was buried in the village of İkizbağlar in the Tillo district after the funeral prayer held at Halid bin Velid Mosque.
