The Houthis attacked Israel with a hypersonic missile.

The Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen announced that they launched a hypersonic missile attack on central Israel.

Houthi Military Spokesman Yahya Saree stated in a statement that they targeted a military site in the Yafa region of central Israel with a hypersonic missile named "Palestine 2."

Saree expressed that the attack reached its target and reiterated that they would continue such attacks against Israel until it stops its genocide against the Gaza Strip.

"DESTROYED BEFORE REACHING THE BORDERS"

Meanwhile, a written statement from the Israeli army announced that a missile fired from Yemen towards Israel was destroyed before reaching the country's borders.

Siren sounds were heard in central Israel, especially in Tel Aviv, while the army's statement noted that the sirens were activated to protect against debris from the defense system that destroyed the missile in the central part of the country.
