The spokesperson of Hamas' military wing, the Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubeyde, announced that two members of the Qassam Brigades, who were tasked with protecting Israeli prisoners, shot and killed one prisoner and seriously injured two female prisoners. Abu Ubeyde stated that a committee has been formed to investigate the details of the incident and that further statements will be made later.

Ebu Ubeyde stated that in two separate incidents, two Kassam members assigned to guard Israeli prisoners shot and killed one prisoner and seriously injured two female prisoners.

ISRAEL RESPONDS

Meanwhile, the Israeli military spokesperson referred to Hamas' statement in a statement, stating that Kassam members killed an Israeli prisoner in two separate incidents and injured two female prisoners, but there is no intelligence information confirming or denying the incident yet. The statement also mentioned that an investigation has been launched regarding the matter.
