The recent increase in foreign exchange rates will also be reflected in fuel prices. A price hike is expected for all fuel groups starting from this week. Accordingly, a rise of 1.30 TL is anticipated for gasoline, 1 TL for diesel, and 0.65 TL for autogas.

While fluctuations in Brent crude oil prices continue, changes in fuel prices are also expected. Following record levels of the euro and dollar, an increase is reported to be applicable across all groups.

EXPECTED INCREASE RATE IS AS FOLLOWS

According to information obtained from industry sources, a price increase of 1 lira and 30 kuruş is expected for gasoline starting from Tuesday next week. For diesel, a price hike of 1 lira is anticipated for Wednesday next week, while a 65 kuruş increase is expected for autogas, effective Thursday. It is noted that predictions may be updated based on the situation of the exchange rate.

HOW ARE PRICES DETERMINED?

Fuel prices are calculated by refineries based on the average prices of refined products in the Mediterranean market, which includes Turkey, and changes in the dollar exchange rate. As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies may show slight variations depending on competition and freedom among companies and cities.
