The interior of the Grand Kartal Hotel, which became the grave of 76 people at the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Resort, has been captured for the first time with an FPV drone. In the footage that resembles scenes from horror movies, the inside of the massive hotel is seen reduced to ashes by the fire, while the emerging details reveal the severity of the tragedy that occurred.
In the fire that broke out at the Grand Kartal Hotel in Kartalkaya Ski Resort the other night, 76 people lost their lives, while AFAD and fire brigade teams resumed their work with the first light of morning after a break yesterday evening.
TEAMS ARE CARRYING OUT THEIR WORK WITH DILIGENCE
The teams from the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) and fire personnel are meticulously carrying out their work due to the risk of collapse, as a large part of the hotel is made of wooden materials.
THE GYM AND POOL SECTION TURNED TO ASHES
In the footage taken from inside and outside, it was observed that the roof of the 12-story hotel suffered significant damage due to the fire, with broken windows and completely burned belongings. The gym and pool section located on the ground floor were also completely turned to ashes in the fire.
