The Iranian Parliament has approved a bill suspending cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Following the Parliament's decision, Iranian lawmakers shouted slogans such as "Death to America" and "Death to Israel."

According to state television, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf made a statement following the approval of the bill.
"PEACEFUL NUCLEAR ACTIVITIES WILL PROGRESS RAPIDLY"
Qalibaf stated, "The Iranian Atomic Energy Organization is suspending cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency until the safety of our nuclear facilities is fully ensured." The Iranian official noted that the country's peaceful nuclear activities would progress more rapidly. The bill requires the approval of the Guardian Council of the Constitution of Iran to come into effect.
