METEOR MISSILE FEATURES
Meteor stands out as an advanced Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile (BVRAAM) and can be used against a wide range of targets, from fast jets to unmanned aerial vehicles. Designed to adapt to the complex conditions of modern air combat, this system provides Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft with high precision in all weather conditions.
One of the most notable features of the Meteor is its ability to successfully detect and destroy targets even in environments subjected to electronic jamming, thanks to its advanced active radar seeker. The missile can operate in a network-centric manner due to its data link communication capability, offering operational flexibility by utilizing third-party data.
The missile's innovative ramjet propulsion system provides continuous thrust throughout the flight, expanding the "No Escape Zone" and minimizing the chances of targets escaping. The missile is also equipped with both impact and proximity fuzes to ensure maximum effectiveness against various threats.
