In Eskişehir, a video captured the moment when a construction worker's 6-year-old child threw a box filled with gold from the second floor, and a woman passing by picked it up. A 35-year-old construction worker, Adem Arslan, who lives on the 2nd floor of a 4-story building in the Kumlubel neighborhood of Tepebaşı district in Eskişehir, experienced an unfortunate event.

6-YEAR-OLD CHILD THREW A BOX FULL OF GOLD INTO THE STREET

The youngest member of the family, 6-year-old M.H.A., played with a box containing 5 quarter gold coins and then threw it out of the window. After a while, Adem Arslan and his wife realized the box was missing and heard their child say, "I threw it outside." When they looked down from the window, they sent their eldest son to retrieve the box from the sidewalk, only to realize that their savings had disappeared from the sidewalk shortly after.

WOMAN PASSING BY TOOK THE BOX FULL OF GOLD AND LEFT

Arslan, who reported the situation to the police, stated that when they reviewed the security cameras, they saw a woman passing by taking the box full of gold and walking away. Arslan mentioned that he was preparing to help a relative who would soon undergo surgery with the money he earned to buy a car. Addressing the person who took the gold, Arslan requested them to return his savings. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.

"THE CHILD IS THROWING THE BOX FULL OF GOLD OUT OF THE WINDOW"

Speaking about the incident, Adem Arslan said, "We noticed it on the camera at 12:37 on Sunday. We had just returned from the village and had not yet organized our belongings inside. The gold was in a box in the cupboard. Later, while my wife was trying to put it under the bed, the child somehow took it without her noticing. After all, he is a child. He was shaking the box with his hands, but he couldn't open it because it was taped. Then, he threw it out of the window as trash, but the box fell onto the road. He told his mother about this situation. My wife sent the other child downstairs, thinking the box was down there. The child looked but couldn't find it. My wife went down too, but she couldn't find it either. We checked the camera. There was a woman with a little girl in her arms. She put the girl down and kicked the box with her foot. When she heard a sound, she picked it up and opened the box. Seeing the gold inside, she put it in her bag and left. We also checked another camera, and her face is clearly visible. The police have taken the camera footage; they didn't give it to us. Now we are waiting for news. If anyone sees or hears anything, we would be grateful if they could inform us for God's sake. After all, we don't earn easily. I work in construction; I am a worker. I used to work in a factory. I had 5 quarter gold coins. We barely earned that until today. We thought maybe we could buy a car or something else, but that didn't happen; it went away," he said.

"I WAS GOING TO COVER THE EXPENSES OF MY RELATIVE WHO WILL HAVE SURGERY"

Addressing the person who took his gold, Arslan continued: "If the person who took it sees me or hears me, for God's sake, please return it because we have some troubles. We were going to either exchange it for a car or solve our problems with it. We already had debts. My child's health is what matters most. Now, I say thank God my child didn't fall, but they did. Material things can be worked for and earned, but once they are gone, it also disturbs a person's spirit. The person who took it knows this too. Surely, they work as well. A close relative of mine has a serious illness. I think they will have surgery on Friday. If their father can find something by then, I was going to exchange these gold coins to buy a car for myself. If he couldn't find anything, I would have given them as a gift. I wouldn't lend them because health is more important than anything else."
