Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that with the Judicial Extra Service Unit implemented at Antalya Airport, the judicial proceedings of individuals with arrest warrants or travel bans will be completed at the airport without delay, stating that this 7/24 uninterrupted service reduces the workload of courts and ensures rapid access to justice.
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek provided important information about the functioning and the fundamental rationale behind the establishment of the Courthouse Additional Service Unit, which was put into operation at Antalya Airport.
JUDICIAL PROCEDURES WILL BE COMPLETED ON SITE WITHOUT WASTING TIME
Minister Gürlek stated that with this new model implemented at airports, they aim to accelerate judicial processes and make citizens' access to justice easier.
Gürlek emphasized that the application enables judicial procedures for individuals with an arrest warrant or a travel ban abroad to be completed on site at airports without any loss of time.
WILL PROVIDE UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK
These special judicial units, established at airports with high passenger traffic, operate on a 24/7 uninterrupted service basis to ensure processes run smoothly.
Expressing that this judicial structure at airports also alleviates the workload on courts, Minister Gürlek stated that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, they will resolutely continue fast, accessible, and effective steps aimed at improving the quality of justice services in line with the Judicial Reform Strategy Document.
