As Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip continue for 456 days, Hamas's military wing, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, has released a new hostage video. "I HAVE BEEN A HOSTAGE IN GAZA FOR 450 DAYS"In the video, 19-year-old Israeli hostage Liri Albag addresses her family and the Israeli government, stating, "I have been a hostage in Gaza for 450 days, and my life has come to a standstill. Today marks the beginning of a new year, and the whole world is celebrating. However, we are entering a dark year." Albag, who said, "We are not a priority for our government or our army," added, "The world has even started to forget us and does not care about the pain we are enduring. Mom, Dad, Ronnie, Shay, Jay, and Nair, my family and friends. I love you and miss you so much." Albag stated, "A friend of mine was seriously injured due to the current military operations. We are in a terrifying nightmare. Our survival depends on the army's withdrawal." ADDRESSING THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT: DO YOU WANT TO KILL US?Albag posed the question to the Israeli government, "If your loved ones were in captivity, would the war still be ongoing? I really want to ask you, do you want to kill us?" She continued: "The Defense Minister, you know my father, look into his eyes and tell him that he will not be able to hug his daughters, me and my mother. Look him in the face and say these things. You will not find the courage to do that. After seeing death and what happened to my friend with my own eyes, I understood that our lives are not important to you. I realized that we are your toys. It is impossible for you to get us out of here alive with military operations; you know that." "REMEMBER MY NAME, REMEMBER THIS VIDEO"Albag stated, "Thinking that this method will yield results is madness. This is a crazy chase. What we are experiencing because of your actions is not natural. We are under crazy bombardment every day." Albag, who said, "Remember my name, remember this video," requested that on her grave it be written, "All of this is because of the government and the army." NETANYAHU IS NOT WILLING TO AGREEThere are at least 10,300 Palestinians in prisons in Israel, and it is estimated that there are 100 Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is accused of not making a prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas for political reasons in Israel and the international community. It is reported that Netanyahu's attempts to add additional clauses to the proposed agreement draft and especially his insistence on maintaining control over the Philadelphi Corridor at the Egypt-Gaza border have led to the collapse of the negotiations.
