The body of 29-year-old Sergen Kanmaz, who has a mental disability and went missing on November 8 in the Silifke district of Mersin, was found in the Göksu River. Kanmaz, who was reported missing by his family, has been taken to the morgue for an autopsy.

MENTALLY DISABLED PERSON WAS MISSING FOR DAYS

Sergen Kanmaz, who left his home in the Say neighborhood on November 8 in the afternoon, did not return. His family, unable to get news from Kanmaz, filed a missing person report with the police. Teams examining the security camera footage in the area determined that Sergen Kanmaz headed towards the Göksu River.

HIS LIFLESS BODY WAS FOUND IN THE RIVER

Diver police from the Provincial Police Department's Underwater Group and AFAD teams began search operations in the river yesterday. Kanmaz's lifeless body was reached today in the river. Sergen Kanmaz's body was taken to the morgue for autopsy.
