The body of 34-year-old motorcycle enthusiast and social media phenomenon Mehmet Akif Kocaoğlu, who was reported missing in Mersin, was retrieved from the sea. After an examination at the scene, his body was taken to the hospital. The cause of death will be determined by autopsy.

The incident occurred in the Kapızlı area of Silifke district. According to the information received, a boat captain noticed a body on the water's surface and reported the situation to the security forces. Teams that went to the area retrieved the lifeless body of the individual from the water, approximately 5 meters offshore.

After the examination at the scene, the individual's body was taken to the district state hospital morgue. It was determined that the deceased was 34-year-old Mehmet Akif Kocaoğlu, a motorcycle enthusiast and social media phenomenon. It was reported that the cause of Kocaoğlu's death would be determined after the autopsy.
