THE LIFLESS BODY WAS REMOVED FROM THE STREAM
According to the information obtained, the family of police officer Emre Bakkal, who was on duty in Şırnak and came to Kocaeli on leave to see his family, reported to the police that they had not heard from him since the morning. Upon the notification, police, gendarmerie, and AFAD teams initiated a search operation in Kartepe. During the search, the teams noticed a person lying motionless in the stream bed located in the Uzuntarla İbrikdere area. The marine police who arrived at the scene retrieved the individual from the stream.
IDENTITY CONFIRMED
Health teams determined that the individual had lost his life. It was learned that the deceased was the sought-after police officer Emre Bakkal, who was supposed to return to duty tomorrow.
