It is reported that U.S. President Donald Trump is working on a new regulation that will impose travel bans or restrictions on certain countries. It has been claimed that Trump is preparing to prohibit citizens of 43 countries, including Russia and Belarus, from traveling to the United States.

According to a report by The New York Times based on an internal communication, it has been suggested that the Trump administration is considering implementing detailed travel restrictions or a travel ban for citizens of 43 countries.

According to the published news, the countries are divided into 3 groups. The first group, referred to as the "red list," includes 11 countries: Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen. It has been claimed that the travel of citizens from these countries to the U.S. is absolutely prohibited.

The second group, called the "orange list," includes Belarus, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Russia, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Turkmenistan, with a request for travel restrictions for citizens of these 10 countries to the U.S. In this context, only business travel will be allowed for entry into the U.S., while tourists or those with immigrant visas will not be accepted.

THE LARGEST GROUP IS THE YELLOW LIST WITH 22 COUNTRIES

The third group, referred to as the "yellow list," includes Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Congo, Dominica, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, São Tomé and Príncipe, Vanuatu, and Zimbabwe. The report stated that these 22 countries would be given 60 days to address their "deficiencies," and if they fail to comply, they would be moved to the other groups. An unnamed U.S. official indicated that there could be changes to the list, while U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the list has not yet been approved by President Trump.

HE HAD SIGNED A DECREE

On January 20, U.S. President Donald Trump signed a decree that included intensifying security investigations to identify national security threats regarding foreigners wishing to enter the U.S. The decree instructed some cabinet members to present a list of countries where travel should be partially or completely halted due to the belief that "review and screening information is very inadequate" by March 21.
