A child who fell between the trees from a height of 12 meters fortunately did not suffer any serious injuries. The incident occurred at the Genting Resort Secret Garden ski resort in Hebei, China. On January 8, during the incident, a little girl dressed in pink ski attire tried to hold on while dangling from a rising chairlift. In the footage, it can be seen that after trying to hold on for a while, the child lost her grip and fell. The child, who fell onto a slope covered with snowy pine trees from a height of approximately 12 meters, was immediately assisted by eyewitnesses and ski patrol at the scene. Following this accident, which occurred while she was taking a ski lesson, the little girl was quickly taken to the hospital. According to local media reports, the child fortunately did not suffer any serious injuries due to the impact of the tree branches and the soft snow, which cushioned her fall. An eyewitness who recorded the incident said: "Such incidents are not happening for the first time. Parents and coaches should be more careful to prevent such accidents. The child is small and short, so she can easily slip from the crossbar under her feet." There were three other people in the chairlift cabin with the child, but they did not notice the fall at the moment it happened. Chairlifts generally have safety bars, footrests, or anti-slip seats to prevent adults from falling. While some models have special safety measures for children, small children can face the risk of slipping in large cabins where these features are not present.
