A poster hung on poles in Kocaeli's Körfez district shocked the neighborhood residents. While it is unknown who put up the posters containing a person's photo and accusatory statements, the incident has sparked great curiosity in the neighborhood.

"DEVIL, PERVERT, AND RAPIST"

An attention-grabbing incident occurred in Fatih Neighborhood. Writings containing harassment allegations along with photos of a person were hung on poles at various points in the neighborhood. The writings included statements such as, "Do not harbor him in your neighborhood. He lies at the pure feet, do not believe him," "A devil who deceives women with flowers," "Pervert and rapist. He deceives women and takes their money." Neighborhood residents were shocked when they saw the writings and photos, the authorship of which is unknown.

"IT IS SAID THIS MAN IS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD"

A neighborhood resident said, "I went outside to clean my car on Sunday morning. I noticed there was a writing on the pole in front of my house. I was curious and examined the writing. There was a photo of a man. The writing was there, but I do not know the person. It is said that this man is in the neighborhood. I have never seen him. The person who put these up wanted to indicate that they are a victim, that they are hurting. But I have not seen him in any way, I do not know him. Since I have not seen him, I cannot say much."

"THIS COULD BE A WARNING"

Yenimahalle Muhtar Salih Yolcu stated, "Yesterday, notes were written on A4 paper with the person's photo at many points in our neighborhood. The note mentions the person's perversion and fraud, but there is no name or address here. Therefore, when I looked at the person's photo, I could not identify him either. I have not encountered such a person in my neighborhood. I do not know for sure whether he lives here or not. I do not know who put this up. This could be a warning. They may have put up such a writing so that another person does not experience this victimization. I hope none of our citizens have to go through such a situation. I do not know the person and I do not know if he lived in my neighborhood in the past. If there is identification information, it can be understood whether he lived in our neighborhood. We do not know who he has been with, what he has experienced, or how he has defrauded anyone," he said. Muhtar Yolcu also stated that the issue has been reported to the District Governor's Office and the District Police Department.
