The lowest SSK and Bağ-Kur pension has been raised to 14,469 lira.

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced the inflation figures on January 3rd. Accordingly, inflation increased by 1.03% in December, while the annual rate was 44.38%.

MILLIONS OF RETIREES WERE CURIOUSLY WAITING

Following the inflation figures, the increase for SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees was 15.75%, while the increase for civil servants and civil servant retirees was 11.54%. After the increases were announced, attention turned to the lowest pension amount.

HOW MUCH IS THE LOWEST RETIREMENT PENSION?

The eagerly awaited announcement came from the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan. Minister Işıkhan announced the increase in the lowest retirement pension. He stated that they raised the lowest SSK and Bağ-Kur pension by 15.75%, bringing it to 14,469 Turkish Liras.
