Gürhan Takıl, who worked for a logistics company in Germany, was hospitalized due to shortness of breath and sweating at a hotel where he had come for a fair held in Istanbul. Takıl passed away, and it was learned that he had eaten various foods outside just a day before.

A person who came to Istanbul from Germany for a fair died in the hospital after experiencing shortness of breath and sweating at the hotel where he was staying. The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.

DIED IN ISTANBUL WHERE HE CAME FOR THE FAIR

The incident occurred around 02:40 on November 19 at a hotel on Samsa Street in the Fatih Muhsine Hatun neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Gürhan Takıl, who works for a logistics company in Germany, came to set up a booth at the fair to be held in Fatih Yenikapı. Takıl was taken to Istanbul Training and Research Hospital after experiencing shortness of breath and sweating at the hotel late at night. Despite all the interventions at the hospital, Takıl could not be saved and passed away.

Upon notification, police teams from the Fatih Public Order Bureau were dispatched to the hospital and the hotel. In the examination, no signs of assault or injury were found on Gürhan Takıl's body. His relatives stated that Takıl had no illnesses, his general health condition was good, and he did not consume alcohol.

ATE VARIOUS DISHES IN FATIH A DAY BEFORE

It was learned that Takıl, who arrived in Istanbul on November 18, had eaten various dishes in Fatih and then went to the hotel. After feeling unwell at the hotel, Gürhan Takıl first called his friends and then dialed 112 Emergency Service.

The hotel owner stated that they had done pest control in the hotel about a year ago. The body of Takıl, who passed away in the hospital, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution for an autopsy.
