The man who killed his wife committed suicide in prison a week before his trial.

On August 26 in Muğla, Senem Kıvrak (40) met with her husband Muhittin Kıvrak (43), from whom she had obtained a restraining order from the court.

HE MURDERED HIS WIFE WITH A KNIFE

As a result of an argument between the couple, Muhittin Kıvrak struck Senem Kıvrak on the head with a hard object and stabbed her to death. After the murder, Muhittin Kıvrak was apprehended and, after being taken into custody, was arrested by the court on charges of "intentional murder of a spouse" and sent to Burdur E-Type Closed Prison.

HE COMMITTED SUICIDE IN PRISON

The suspect, Muhittin Kıvrak, whose trial for the murder case will be held on December 27, was found dead in the toilet of the prison where he was held in the morning hours. It was learned that Kıvrak had committed suicide, and an investigation has been initiated regarding the matter.
