The construction of the Emir Bayındır Campus State Bey Mansion, commissioned by the Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party, Devlet Bahçeli, in the Ahlat district of Bitlis, has been completed.
The construction of the Emir Bayındır Mansion, which is based on the architecture of the Emir Bayındır Tomb, where Emir Bayındır Bin Rüstem, one of the Akkoyunlu beys, was buried, has been completed on the shores of Lake Van.
INFLUENCED BY SELJUK ARCHITECTURE
The mansion, whose construction began in April 2023 and was designed by Hayri Bulut, a member of the MHP Central Executive Board, was inspired by Seljuk architecture. The mansion, made of Ahlat stone unique to the district, took approximately 2 years to complete.
WOLF FIGURES, SELJUK EAGLE, AND ROOMS IN THE SHAPE OF A CRESCENT...
On the southern facade of the mansion facing Lake Van, there is a two-story structure resembling the Emir Bayındır Tomb, where Emir Bayındır Bin Rüstem was buried in 1481. The lower part of the building features a large reception hall, while the upper part contains a main room with a sitting area. At the entrance of the mansion, there are wolf figures and a Seljuk eagle, and in the northern part, there are guest rooms in the shape of a crescent.
