REVALUATION RATE IS 25.49 PERCENT

According to the Tax Procedure Law, the revaluation rate calculated based on the Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) data of the Turkish Statistical Institute has been announced by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance in the Official Gazette. The announcement stated that the revaluation rate was determined based on the average price increase in the period of October 2024, and it was declared that this rate is 25.49 percent for the year 2025. Last year, the same rate was announced as 43.93 percent.

2026 MEAL CARD FEE HAS BEEN DETERMINED

With the announced rate, one of the most followed topics by employees, meal card fees, has also been determined. The meal card exemption amount, which was 240 TL per day in 2025, has been increased by 25.49 percent in line with the revaluation rate. Accordingly, the daily meal card support provided to employees in 2026 will be 301.2 TL. This amount represents the daily meal assistance that employers can provide to their employees exempt from income tax.
