The approximately 2000-year-old Medusa mosaic, which was covered during the winter months, has been opened to visitors at the Kibyra Ancient City in the Gölhisar district of Burdur. Located 108 kilometers away from the city center, the Medusa mosaic, built with colorful marbles using the "Opus Sectile" technique and considered one of the rare ancient artifacts in the world, was covered by expert restorers to protect it from the winter climate conditions.
The Medusa mosaic, located in the center of the odeon, which served as a concert hall, assembly, court, and theater in ancient times, has started to welcome visitors after the end of the winter months.
