The Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) has decided to establish a Parliamentary Research Commission regarding the fire disaster in Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center, which resulted in the loss of 78 lives. According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, the members of the commission have also been determined. The commission will include 11 members from the AK Party, 5 from the CHP, and 2 from both the MHP and the DEM Party.
The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) decided to establish a Parliamentary Investigation Commission to examine all aspects of the fire disaster that resulted in the loss of 78 citizens' lives in Bolu, to identify those responsible, and to determine measures to prevent similar incidents.
COMMISSION MEMBERS ANNOUNCED
According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, the commission members have been determined. A total of 11 members from the AKP, 5 from the CHP, and 2 from both the MHP and the DEM Party, including the commission chairman, were included in the decision. WHAT HAPPENED?
In the fire that broke out at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Kartalkaya Ski Resort in Bolu in the early hours of January 21, a total of 78 people lost their lives, including 36 children, and 51 others were injured. Following the incident, 30 people were detained as part of the investigation, and 22 of them were arrested.
