METEOROLOGICAL OUTLOOK
According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The general weather in our country is expected to be partly and very cloudy, with heavy rain and occasional thunderstorms in Marmara, the western Black Sea, the western part of Eastern Anatolia, the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea, as well as in Adana, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş, Rize, Tokat, Sivas, Kayseri, and Niğde. The rainfall is expected to be locally strong in the Edirne and Kırklareli regions. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-70 km/h) from southern directions in the Aegean, Western Mediterranean, and Central Black Sea inner regions, as well as in the western part of Eastern Anatolia, Central Anatolia, and the southern Marmara. Frost and freezing events are expected in the eastern regions during the night and morning hours. There is a risk of avalanche in the steep slopes of the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia, which have a high snow cover.
TEMPERATURE: It is expected that the air temperature will decrease by 4 to 6 degrees in the western regions, while no significant changes are expected in other areas.
WIND: Generally, light winds from southern directions, occasionally moderate, are expected, with strong and short-term storms (40-70 km/h) in the Aegean, Western Mediterranean, and Central and Eastern Black Sea inner regions, as well as in the western part of Eastern Anatolia, Central Anatolia, and Marmara.

HEAVY RAIN WARNING: After noon, local heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in Edirne and Kırklareli, so caution and preparedness should be exercised against adverse conditions such as floods, water accumulation, lightning, transportation disruptions, local hail, and strong winds during rainfall.
STRONG WIND WARNING: As the wind is expected to blow strongly and in short bursts (40-70 km/h) from southern directions in the Aegean, Western Mediterranean, and Central and Eastern Black Sea, as well as in the western part of Eastern Anatolia, Central Anatolia, and the southern Marmara, caution and preparedness are necessary against potential adverse conditions.
AVALANCHE RISK AND SNOW MELTING WITH FROST AND FREEZING EVENT WARNING: Frost and freezing events are expected in the eastern regions during the morning and night hours, and there is a risk of avalanche in the steep slopes of the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia, so those concerned and our citizens should be cautious and prepared against landslides, transportation disruptions, and adverse conditions due to snow melting.
